Scott has designed the homes of a number of celebrities including furnishing and re-designing the home of Duncan James to enable him to move in immediately. Scott achieved this by using his knowledge of sourcing individual pieces efficiently and promptly turned the apartment into a home.
Duncan James said, “Hiring Scott at StagingSpace enabled me to leave my empty flat in his capable hands for a few days and return to find a home exactly how I wanted it, without the hassle of doing it myself. I‘m really pleased with the outstanding result.”
Scott is also a popular guest speaker at Home & Design Shows around the country where he talks about all aspects of design – from Interior re-design to staging property for profit.
Naomi Handford-Jones (Event Organizer at National Self Build & Renovation Centre), said: “Scott’s presentation on Home Staging, given at our Interior Design Weekend was absolutely superb. Scott is the consummate professional – both as a guest speaker and as the celebrity designer that he is. He is passionate about what he does and it comes across in the way he presents. I cannot recommend him highly enough as an interesting and inspiring guest speaker”.
Scott has also created show homes for various property developers.
Rob Short (Director of West Bretton Developments) said, “We met the Estate Agent on site today to finalise details of the development and, like us, he thought the show flat that Scott designed was fantastic, I have never seen an Agent left speechless!!”
Scott (36) started his career as a Dancer, having trained at The Royal Ballet School from the age of 11. Born and raised in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, Scott’s story has similar traits to Billy Elliot. The majority of his work has been based within the television arena, working with artists such as Blue, Atomic Kitten, Will Young, Basement Jazz and appearing in television shows such as Top Of the Pops, CDUK, X Factor, Saturday Night Takeaway and Stars in their Eyes.
Scott’s desire to move into interior design came after refurbishing and styling a number of properties for his family and friends. The rest, as they say, is history |
